Only a small offering of lambs were penned with wet and cold conditions across the supply area. Quality was mixed with a few light store lambs up to some very good heavy weights. The market lifted $3 to $7 on the lighter weight trades and $12 to $15 on the heavy trades and heavy lambs.

Trade lambs to 22kg cwt sold from $154 to $185/head and the heavy trades to 26kg $177 to $216/head averaging between 780c and 815c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs sold from $210 to a top of $241/head. The best price for a hogget was $200/head. First cross ewe lambs to restock reached $172/head.

Mutton numbers were also back and quality mixed. Prices lifted $4 to $6 on lighter weights with heavy ewes gaining $15 to $20/head mostly on supply numbers. Medium weight ewes $128 to $174 and heavy crossbred ewes $200 to $227/head. Heavy Merinos sold from $175 to $202 and Wiltipoll ewes reached $260/head.
