Cattle numbers eased and the quality was good with most of the cattle carrying plenty of weight and finish. Yearlings made up the bulk and there were a few more grown steers suited to the processors. Grown heifers were limited and there were only 51 cows. Yearlings sold to strong spirited competition and grown heifers were firm. Cows averaged firm but a few of the high yielding cows were up to 10c stronger.

The pick of the vealers sold from 412c to 425c/kg. Restockers paid 450c for light under 200kg weaner steers and to 440c/kg for heavier weights. Medium weight feeder steers averaged 10c dearer ranging from 391c to 423c and restocking steers were 9c dearer making from 395c to 425c/kg. Heavy feeders lifted 4c to sell from 380c to 408c/kg. Medium weight feeders were 9c stronger and made from 360c to 410c, while heavy weights were firm, averaging 376c/kg.

Prime grown steers sold between 370c and 390c/kg. Bullocks made from 350c to 368c/kg. Grown heifers to feed were firm, while heavy weights were dearer ranging from 330c to 370c/kg. Mostly heavy cows were penned and the 3 and 4 score cows sold from 270c to 300c while the 5 score cows ranged from 240c to 288c/kg.
