Total Yarding: 8329

Lamb numbers eased for a mixed quality offering. Light lambs and unfinished trade weights made up the bulk of the yarding with ideal trade weights and heavy lambs in very limited numbers.

The 2 score restocking lambs were $10 to $15 dearer selling from $83 to $122/head. Medium trade weights gained $7 and heavy trades were firm with most selling from $120 to $148/head. Heavy lambs ranged from $147 to $166/head with carcass prices 580c to 610c/kg cwt. The best of the heavy hoggets reached $162/head.

Mutton numbers declined and the quality was fair to good. Prices were $10 to $15/head dearer with more weight on offer. Medium weight ewes sold from $84 to $136/head for long skinned Merinos. Heavy crossbred ewes reached $162 and Merinos $159/head. Heavy Merino wethers $148 to $157/head with carcass prices averaging around 480c/kg cwt.
