There was an increase in numbers and the quality was better. There were a few weaners and vealers and a bigger line up of heavy feeder/restocking steers. Grown steers were also better supplied but heifers were limited. Most of the cows were again heavy weights with cover. The market sold to dearer trends.

Weaner steers and heifers most sold from 583c to 631c/kg. Medium weight steers to feed or restock were firm to slightly cheaper 504c to 576c/kg. heavy weights were considerably stronger 515c to 602c/kg. feeder heifers were 15c to 30c dearer with medium weights ranging from 500c to 530c and heavy weights 444c to 462c/kg. Heavy trade steers were 35c dearer ranging from 480c to 548c/kg.

Grown steers and bullocks most sold between 440c and 470c/kg. Heavy cows were firm to 5c stronger 370c to a top of 430c/kg. Best priced heavy bull reached 350c/kg. Open auction cow and calf unit sold to $2900/unit.
