Cattle numbers fell and the quality was mixed. There were some very good yearling steers which sold to feeder orders and only a handful of heavy trade steers. Grown steers and heifers were not to the quality of the previous sale and close to 110 heavy cows were penned. Yearling steers and heifers were firm to dearer with grown cattle and cows cheaper.

Feeder steers were firm to slightly dearer with less competition from restockers and medium weights ranged from 540c to 596c and heavy weights 530c to 586c/kg. Medium weight heifers to feed were 2c dearer ranging from 550c to 530c/kg. Heavy Limo steers to the trade reached 540c/kg.

Grown steers and bullocks were back 20c selling between 420c and 460c/kg and lighter weights to feed on reached 465c/kg. Heavy grown heifers dropped 10c ranging from 355c to 440c/kg. All the cows were heavy weights and were 20c cheaper with a few export orders not operating and sold from 310c to 380c/kg.
