Total Yarding: 1,100

Cattle numbers lifted for a mixed quality yarding. Weaners were better supplied and there were more yearling heifers. There was more interest from butchers in a variety of cattle. Grown steers in prime condition remain in limited numbers and close to 350 cows were offered.

Weaner steers eased 15c to 20c with steers to restock making from 362c to 445c and heifers from 320c to 380c/kg. Feeder steers were firm selling from 366c to 410c/kg. Medium weight heifers eased 6c and made from 356c to 388c/kg. Heavy trade steers sold from 380c to 390c and heifers made from 355c to 379c/kg.

Grown steers over 500kg received from 340c to 375c and heifers reached 377c/kg. Cows eased 10c to 15c with the 2 score cows to process making from 252c to 287c/kg. Restocking cows sold from 265c to 323c/kg. Heavy 3 and 4 score cows sold from 272c to 304c/kg.
