Total Yarding: 5351

Numbers remained similar and the quality was mixed. There were some very good lambs coming off crop and grain, assisted along with some secondary trade lambs. Trade and heavy lambs were well supplied and there were a few very good extra heavy weights on offer. The market trend was dearer.

Light 2 score processing lambs sold from $148 to $177/head. Trade weight lambs weighing 22 to 24kg cwt were $5 dearer, selling from $190 to $246/head. The 24 to 26kg cwt lambs made from $225 to $261/head and averaged 950c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs were up $5 on average, making from $260 to $298 and extra heavy weights averaged $295 and sold to a top of $333/head. Merino lambs were firm to dearer while trade weights sold from $155 to $201 and heavy weights reached $220/head. The best priced hogget reached $230/head.

Mutton numbers were again low and the quality mixed. Prices were dearer on the medium weight sheep lifting $15 to $20/head while heavy weights were firm. Medium weight ewes made from $124 to $198/head. Heavy crossbred ewes ranged from $210 to $260 and Merinos reached $215/head.
