Numbers lifted slightly and the quality still remains mixed in the small offering. There were a few weaners and better weighted feeder steers and heifers. There were a few more heifers which suited trade buyers that came off crop. No prime grown steers were presented and most of the grown heifers were light weights. Around 150 cows were penned in a market that lifted 15c to 20c/kg on most of the young cattle. Grown heifers lifted 10c and cows were 7c/kg stronger.

Weaner steers sold from 270c to 321c and heifers 231c to 298c/kg. Feeder steers medium and heavy weights ranged from 280c to 337c and medium weight steers to restock sold to 341c/kg. Most of the trade cattle were light and medium weights and sold from 290c to 310c/kg for both steers and heifers.

The few grown heifers to process received 255c to 260c/kg. Medium weight 2 score cows sold from 185c to 242c and the heavy 3 and 4 score cows sold from 234c to 270c with the prime heavy weights averaging 266c/kg.
