Total Yarding: 11,598

Lamb and sheep numbers both showed an increase. Lamb quality was again good with some large drafts of grain assisted, heavy and extra heavy lambs offered. Trade weights were in reasonable numbers and there was an increase in the number of light store lambs. The market sold to a dearer trend.

Restocking lambs sold from $67 to $151/head. The 2 score processing lambs to 16kg were $4 dearer and ranged from $142 to $158/head. Medium and heavy trade lambs to 22kg gained $6 to $8, selling from $185 to $212/head. Heavy lambs, 22 to 26kg, lifted $6, making from $204 to $245/head. Carcase prices averaged 920c to 950c/kg cwt and extra heavy lambs sold from $258 to $271/head. Heavy merinos reached $224/head or 870c/kg cwt.

Mutton quality was fair with all weight and conditions penned. Prices lifted $7 to $10/head. Medium weight ewes sold from $118 to $185/head. Heavy crossbreds made from $176 to $264 and merino ewes reached $231/head. Most averaged between 700c and 760c/kg cwt for the better 3 score sheep.
