Total Yarding: 8540
Lamb numbers eased and the quality remained mostly light and plain. There was only a few good new season lambs with around 400 new season lambs penned. The trade and heavy old lambs sold dearer and there were a few large runs of Merino lambs.
Trade weights sold $7 dearer and made from $154 and $220/head. Heavy lambs reached $250/head, averaging 850c/kg cwt. Old 2 score processing lambs were $3 dearer making from $78 to $134/head. Trade lambs were firm to $5 dearer and sold from $158 to $205/head. Merino trades sold from $114 to $147 and heavier weights reached $165/head.
Heavy lambs sold from $195 to $240/head and extra heavy lambs reached $293/head. Most averaging around 820c to 850c/kg cwt.
Mutton numbers lifted and the quality was mixed. Prices lifted up to $10/head. Light weight ewes sold from $66 to $92/head. Heavy crossbred ewes reached $182/head. Most averaged 460c/kg cwt. Merino wethers reached $140/head and averaged 510c/kg cwt.
