It was a smaller than expected store sale with rain hampering supply. There were 57 steers and 59 heifers were penned with the balance being cow and calf units. The market remained similar with a run of weaner heifers selling to a very strong trend.

Steers were similar in value with medium weight weaners sold from $1,200 to $1,300/head or selling to 542c/kg lwt. Heavy weaners made from $1,400 to $1,695/head. The highlight was a run of Angus weaner heifers averaging 325kg which sold to $1,830/head or 563c/kg lwt on average. Yearling steers reached $1,650 and joinable heifers made to a top of $1,880/head.

Cow and calf units were solid selling from $2,500/unit to $3,150/unit for Angus cows with a 166kg calf at foot.
