Total Yarding: 833

Numbers eased, with the quality being plain and light across the whole sale. Weaners were well supplied and there were only a few good lines of feeder cattle, with a couple of trade yearlings. No heavy grown steers or heifers were penned. Around 150 mostly light cows were offered to a larger restocking group, while all but one of the usual buyers were present.

Weaners were 20c easier on the plainer lines, with the steers receiving from 140c to 222c and heifers making from 140c to 179c/kg. Feeder steers decreased 30c on a limited number and most made from 200c to 240c, with a top sale of 278c/kg. Most heifers eased 10c to 15c, to make from 225c to 265c/kg. The few trade cattle sold from 236c to 250c/kg.

Grown steers reached 220c and heifers made from 220c to 245c/kg. The light and medium weight cows were dearer, with the medium weight 2 score cows receiving from 142c to 167c/kg. Heavy cows were firm making from 170c to 198c/kg. Prime heavy weights averaged 192c/kg.
