Total Yarding: 452

Numbers eased for a mixed quality offering. Weaners were limited and there was only a small selection of yearlings. Grown cattle were better supplied although most were lacking weight and cover. Around 120 cows were penned and market trends ranged from firm to dearer.

Weaner steers were firm with the majority selling from 410c to 450c with a pen of light weights reaching 529c/kg. Weaner heifers sold from 380c to 410c/kg. A limited supply of yearling steers to feed lifted 20c and sold from 383c to 424c/kg for the medium and heavy weights. Feeder heifers gained 14c again on limited numbers and sold from 370c to 405c/kg.

Grown steers were dearer making from 350c to 400c and prime heavy weights to process reached 390c/kg. Grown heifers to feed and process sold from 270c to 325c with a single reaching 350c/kg. Cows were firm to 3c stronger with medium weight 2 score cows making from 258c to 276c and heavy 3 and 4 score cows sold from 265c to 284c/kg. Resockers paid to 337c/kg for PTIC cows.
