Numbers remained steady, and the quality was very mixed. There was good pens of well finished yearlings and grown cattle to suit the trade, along with some bigger numbers of plainer types. 130 cows were penned, with some outstanding lines to suit the processors. All the usual buyers were operating, selling to a firm to slightly dearer market.

Yearling steers to suit the trade, lifted 3c, selling from 340 to 398c and heifers to process made from 326c to 360c/kg. Feeder steers ranged from 330c to 410c/kg, with the medium weights 4c cheaper and the heavy weights, price unchanged. Feeder heifers eased a few cents, making from 300c to 356c/kg. Weaner steers returning to the paddock sold from 280 to 465c and the heifer portion reached 440c/kg.

Heavy grown steers were 6c better, selling from 300c to 355c and grown heifers were firm, ranging from 285c to 330c/kg. There were several lines of grown heifers in store condition, suiting the restockers, making from 232c to 330c/kg. D2 cows to process were firm and heavy 3 and 4 score cows, up to 5c dearer, selling from 262c to 296c/kg. The best heavy weight bull topped at 300c/kg.
