Total Yarding: 11,322

Lamb numbers increased and the quality of the yarding remains mixed but there were lambs in better condition. Trade lambs were well supplied and the was an increased in the number of heavy trade weights. There were still plenty of 1 and 2 score lambs suitable to feed and put onto crops. Most of the usual buyers were operating in a cheaper market.

Restocking lambs sold from $15 to $82/head. The 2 score processing lambs to 18kg ranged from $69 to $80/head. Trade weights to 22kg sold from $60 to $104/head and the better 22 to 24kg lambs sold from $103 to $121 while the 24 to 26kg received $131 to $137/head. Most averaged around 480c to 520c/kg cwt. Heavy weights to 30kg sold from $141 to $147/head on limited numbers and most where at the lighter end of the weight category. The few extra heavy lambs topped at $175/head. there were several big runs of Merino hoggets and received $58 to $75/head, crossbred hoggets reached $130/head.

Mutton numbers eased and the quality was a little plainer with more light ewes offered and heavy weights limited. Prices $5 to $10 cheaper on medium and heavy weights. Light ewes $15 to $45/head, $10 dearer in places. Medium weights $52 to $86 and heavy crossbreds $95 to $124/head.
