Numbers lifted and the quality improved. There were good numbers of yearlings to suit both the trade and feeder orders. Very limited numbers of weaners and grown steers in prime condition, grown heifers were well supplied and again the quality was plain and light for the majority. Around 75 cows were offered in a market that sold from firm to dearer trends.

Weaners were firm with the steers ranging from 223c to 301c and heifers 180c to 250c/kg. Feeder steers were steady with the medium and heavy weights selling from 280c to 361c/kg, heifers also firm 210c to 278c/kg. Trade steers and heifers were 10c dearer ranging between 280c to 320c/kg.

Grown steers reached a top of 280c and the D2 grown heifers were dearer with solid competition from restockers. The bulk selling from 146c to 210c, 2 tooth heifers to feed reached 270c/kg. Heavy cows were 25c dearer ranging from 172c to 218c and the medium weights 2 scores firm 145c to 165c/kg.
