Lamb numbers remained steady and the quality was mixed with only a limited supply of well finished trade and heavy lambs. There were plenty of lighter weights and secondary trade lambs. Not all the usual buyers were operating and despite that, prices were firm to $5 dearer across most lambs.

The 2 score processing lambs to 16kg sold from $60 to $110/head. The trade lambs 20 to 24kg sold between $145 and $185/head with the better lambs averaging between 715c and 750c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs 24 to 26kg sold from $175 to $187/head and lambs 26kg and heavier sold from $191 to $222/head to ranged from 700c to 730c/kg on average. The best priced hogget reached $144/head.

Mutton numbers eased and the quality was very mixed. Prices were firm to $3 easier. Medium weight ewes sold from $36 to $85 and heavy crossbreds reached $129/head. Merino ewes topped at $115 and wethers $130/head. Most of the better covered lines averaged 320c to 350c/kg cwt.
