Prime Cattle Total Yarding: 627 There was a lift in the numbers penned and the rise was mostly in the cow run. There were a few weaners and lighter yearlings and they were in demand from restockers. Special Store Cattle Total Yarding: 743 A very mixed quality yarding of cattle was offered with better-than-expected prices at the Special Christmas Store Cattle sale. 328 steers sold to a top of $1100, with an average of $763 p/h; 309 heifers sold to $990 p/h and averaged $511 while cows with calves sold to $1560
