Numbers lifted and the quality improved with more weight and condition offered. There was only limited supply of cattle under 400kg and restockers were keen to purchase. Feeders and processors were after numbers with the lift in quality. Around 100 grown steers and heifers and 110 cows were offered in the export run. The market did sell to dearer trends.

Weaner steers sold to 435c for medium weights and heifers reached 319c/kg. Medium weight feeder steers jumped 40c with most selling from 320c to 398c and similar weights to restockers reached 418c/kg. Heavy feeders averaged 328c after reached 351c/kg. Medium weight feeder heifers lifted 17c ranging from 276c to 335c and heavy weights sold from 297c to 318c/kg. Trade cattle ranged from 300c to 334c/kg.

Grown steers lifted 20c receiving 290c to 318c and heavy heifers were up 25c ranging from 278c to 314c/kg. The heavy cows gained 10c ranging from 272c to 294c/kg and the leaner 2 scores jumped 20c to sell between 245c and 265c/kg.
