Total Yarding: 642

Numbers were steady and the quality was good with plenty of young cattle in forward condition and carrying plenty of weight. Feeders were the driving force and there were very few trade cattle. Weaners were also in reduced numbers and prime grown cattle were also limited. Around 140 mostly heavy cows were offered.

The few weaners were cheaper with the steers selling from 510c to 699c/kg and heifers reached 736c/kg. Most of the yearling steers were heavy weights and went to feed and sold 6c to 14c cheaper, very heavy steers over 540kg sold from 420c and as the weight dropped topped at 590c/kg. Feeder heifers were firm selling between 470c and 548c/kg. The best trade steers reached 560c/kg.

There were too few prime heavy grown cattle to quote with bullocks reaching 420c and heifers 380c/kg. Cows were 5c to 8c dearer with the medium weights 340c to 378c and heavy 3 and 4 score cows 350c to 395c/kg.
