Total Yarding: 2,889

It was a smaller yarding for the last of the special weaner store sales. The quality was very good, with mostly light and medium weights cattle penned. Angus cattle dominated the breeds through the yarding. There was a smaller buying group, but competition was strong and prices were generally $100 to $120/head stronger.

Light weaner steers to 200kg received mainly from $310 to $660, with a small pen reaching $825/head. Medium weights sold from $500 to $890 and heavy steers made from $700 to $1,150/head. On a live weight basis, prices averaged from 290c to 325c/kg.

Light heifers reached $515 and the medium weights sold from $465 to $730/head. Heavy heifers made from $630 to $775/head or averaged from 220c to 270c/kg depending on breed.
