Total Yarding: 836

Numbers eased and the quality was fair to good. Young cattle made up the bulk of the yarding but there were a few less weaners offered. Restockers and feedlots purchased most of the young cattle and there were very few yearlings that suited trade buyers. Grown cattle were limited and there were 286 cows penned. Restockers were strong on the light cows to return to the paddock. The market sold to a solid trend and cows lifted 3c to 56c/kg.

Weaner steers sold from 387c to 464c, heifers made from 360c to 446c/kg. Medium and heavy feeder steers mainly sold from 330c to 382c/kg and medium weight heifers sold from 260c to 350c/kg. Trade cattle were limited and heavy heifers sold to 380c and steers to 390c/kg.

Grown steers to feed on, sold from 230c to 290c/kg. Cows lifted 3c to 5c with the light processing cows making from 245c to 287c and heavy weights sold from 258c to 290c/kg. Light restocking cows started at 219c and topped at 334c/kg.
