Lamb numbers eased and the quality was plain to fair with only a limited supply of well finished trade lambs and heavy weights were scarce. There were fewer restockers orders in place and not all of the regular buyers were operating. The market sold to cheaper trends.

Restocking lambs to 16kg sold from $8 to $105/head averaging $66 were back $20/head. processing lambs at a similar weight slipped $15 to $20 with most selling from $65 to $108/head. The few better trade lambs were firm to $3 cheaper with the medium and heavy weights selling from $122 to $152/head to average 595c to 615c/kg with the really neat lambs out to around 660c/kg. Heavy lambs ranged from $142 to $190/head with the best of the very limited supply averaging 680c/kg. Heavy hoggets lost $20 and reached $108/head.

Mutton numbers eased and the quality remained mixed. Prices were anywhere from $12 to $25/head cheaper. Light ewes sold from $14 to $26/head. Medium weights ranged from $44 to $77 and heavy crossbreds reached $89/head. Merino wethers topped at $83/head. Most averaging 230c to 240c/kg.
