Total Yarding: 448

Numbers fell slightly and the quality improved. Yearlings made up the bulk of the offering and there was a better run of heavier grown cattle. Cows were limited with only 30 head penned. The trend of the market was dearer but price ranges remained similar.

Restocking weaner steers sold to 332c while a pen of Angus weaner heifers reached 352c/kg. Medium and heavy feeder steers ranged from 280c to 310c and heifers 250c to 302c/kg. Trade cattle were firm and steers received 270c to 321c/kg. Trade heifers made from 260c to 310c/kg.

Grown steers and bullocks also sold to a similar price ranged of 268c to 275c/kg. Grown heifers to export ranged from 240c to 265c/kg. In a very small run of cows the 2 score medium weights ranged from 180c to 188c/kg. The heavy weight 3 and 4 scores sold from 205c to 220c/kg.
