Heavy lambs gained $9 and made from $152 to $173 and extra heavy weights were firm with less weight at the top end and made from $174 to $180/head. The best of the hoggets reached $187/head.

Mutton numbers eased and the quality was plainer. Prices continue to rise with strong competition on all grades. Medium weight ewes sold from $104 to $140/head. Heavy crossbred ewes reached $180/head and most averaged around 520c/kg.
