Total Yarding: 519

Numbers more than halved for a very mixed quality yarding. Most of the young cattle were light weights and most sold to similar prices. The few that had some condition and sold to feedlots sold to a dearer trend. No heavy prime grown steers and heifers were yarded and there was a mixed run of around 150 cows.

Steer weaners to restock sold from 245c to 328c/kg. The heifers ranged between 226c and 245c/kg for D muscle and 281c and 285c/kg for the C muscled. Medium and heavy feeder steers lifted 9c selling from 270c to 318c/kg and heifers lifted 5c to 10c to sell from 248c to 290c/kg. The best of the heavy trade steers reached 296c/kg.

The 2 tooth steers to feed sold from 270c to 315c and grown heifers to process 245c to 270c/kg. Cows sold to a dearer trend of 3c to 5c with 2 score medium weight cows 199c to 248c/kg. Heavy 3 and 4 scores 246c to 270c, averaging 260c/kg on the limited numbers.
