Total Yarding: 853

Numbers were steady and the quality improved. There were several large runs of heavy feeders and a bigger selection of weaners. Heavy trade steers were well supplied but heifers were limited. Most of the grown steers went to feeder orders and around 160 cows were penned. The market was sold to mixed trends.

The weaners were cheaper with steers 490c to 599c for the medium weights and heifers ranged from 450c to 540c/kg. Medium weight feeder steers lifted 5c and sold from 440c to 500c and heavy weights jumped 20c reaching 493c/kg on the big lines. Feeder heifers lost 15c, 380c to 445c/kg. heavy trades were fully firm receiving 385c to 444c/kg.

Grown steers to feed ranged from 370c to 430c and prime steers over 500kg were firm reaching 395c/kg. Heavy grown heifers also remained firm 343c to 370c/kg. Cows were the big improver lifting 12c to 14c and most of the cows were heavy 3 and 4 score cows and sold from 292c to 325c/kg.
