Total Yarding: 1,631

A good quality line up of 980 steer weaners and 500 weaner heifers saw steers sell to a dearer trend while heifers remained steady compared to the last store sale. Also offered were a few cow and calf units and some PTIC cows and heifers.

Weaner steers under 200kg sold from $640 to $1,065/head with most averaging from 520c to 540c but some of the lighter Angus passed 600c/kg. medium weights, 200kg to 280kg, sold from $1,080 to $1,320/head and averaged between 460c and 500c/kg. Heavy weights made from $1,200 to $1,510/head or 380c to 420c/kg. Light heifers started at $510 and sold to $910/head or 470c to 500c/kg on average. Medium weights made from $850 to $1,190 and heavy weights sold from $1,010 to $1,400/head, averaging from 380c to 420c/kg. Heavy yearling steers reached $1.410 and heifers made to $1,240/head.

PTIC Hereford heifers reached $1,650 and PTIC Angus cows made to $1500/head. Rising 3 year old Angus cows with calf at foot topped at $2,700/unit.
