Total Yarding:  1671

1670 head were penned and the quality was well back on the previous sale. There were good numbers of weaners although a large percentage were 9 to 11 months of age. A small offering of yearlings and PTIC cows and heifers and around 55 cow and calf units. The weaners sold $200 to $250/head cheaper than the last store sale with the slip in quality a major factor.

Light weaner steers under 200kg sold from $800 to $1160/head. Medium weight to 280kg ranged from $990 to $1960 and averaged 680c/kg for the bulk of the cattle. Heavy weaner steers sold to $2210/head. Light heifers $720 to $940 and medium weights $950 to $1640/head.

Heavy Angus heifers around 320kg topped the weaner sale reaching $2250/head. Very heavy Charolais yearling steers also reached $2250/head and the best price for PTIC heifers reached $2620/head. Cow and calf units ranged between $2400 and $3300/unit.
