Total Yarding: 729

A total of 734 head was offered and this included good runs of medium and heavy weight yearling steers and heifers and a few weaners. Cow and calf units varied in breed and condition. There was a reasonable number of buyers and the market sold to a cheaper trend with the steers easing $150 to $300/head and heifers slipping $100 to $150/head.

Light weaner steers under 200kg sold from $920 to $110/head. Medium and heavy weights sold mostly from $1560 to $1930/head. Medium weight weaner heifers reached $1640 and heavy weights topped at $200/head. Most of the yearling heifers sold between $1530 and $2060/head and the steers reached $2130/head.

A mixed run of cow/calf unit started at $1200 and reached $3950/unit for Angus cows with their second calf at foot and continuously running with a bull.
