Lamb numbers eased as the Easter break loams. The quality was fair to good with several good pens of trade weights and a mixed offering of lighter trades and light lambs. Extra heavy weights were limited. There was only a some run of hoggets. The market sold mostly to stronger trends.

Light 2 score lambs were $8 dearer selling from $67 to $105/head. Light trades were fully firm on average selling between $96 and $129/head and averaged 610c to 640c/kg for the neater lambs. The trades were $9 to $10 dearer with the lambs 20 to 24kg selling from $125 to $145/head and averaged 600c to 630c/kg. Heavy lambs ranged from $151 to $180/head with most selling in the 630c to 660c/kg price range. Heavy hoggets were limited and lifted $10/head, ranging from $88 to $115/head.

Mutton numbers eased and the quality was good with medium weights best supplied and lifting $10 to $15/head. Heavy mutton was limited but had gains of $6 to $10/head. Crossbred wethers reached $120/head and Merino ewes reached $96/head.
