Lamb numbers eased and the quality varied from some very good supplementary fed trade weights to lambs lacking finish. Trade were well supplied and there were a few more heavy lambs. The market was firm to dearer.

The 2 score processing lambs sold from $113 to $165/head. Medium and heavy trade weights made from $160 to $197/head. The 22-24kg lambs received from $193 to $212/head, averaging from 820c to 875c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs received from $213 to $233 and extra heavy lambs made from $264 to $307/head or from 770c to 824c/kg cwt. Merino hoggets reached $170/head.

Mutton numbers lifted and medium weight sheep sold $7 to $8 dearer, receiving from $115 to $188/head for Merino ewes. Heavy sheep were $6 to $10 dearer, with heavy crossbreds making from $186 to $223/head, averaging 670c/kg cwt.
