Total Yarding: 764

Cattle numbers lifted slightly and the quality was mixed. Restockers were strong on the young cattle and the plainer cows. Feeder orders were limited with the strong competition from restockers. Heavy trade cattle were limited and there were only a few grown steers and bullocks. Around 280 cows were penned. The market sold to a dearer trend.

Weaners to restockers lifted 8c to 10c with the steers making from 436c to 518c and heifers selling from 360c to 496c/kg for light weights. Feeder steers were firm on breed selling from 280c to 381c/kg. Similar weights to restockers sold to 400c/kg. Feeder heifers sold slightly dearer reaching 384c/kg. Heavy trade cattle were firm with the steers making from 341c to 375c and heifers sold from 335c to 365c/kg.

Grown steers reached 348c and heifers sold to 330c/kg. Cows were 6c to 8c dearer on the medium weights and sold from 240c to 290c/kg. Heavy cows were up to 10c dearer, reaching 293c/kg. Restocking cows made from 253c to 292c/kg.
