Numbers were back this sale and the majority of the cattle were weaners. Around 100 PTIC cows were offered with 5 cow and calf units. The quality was fair to good with a few large drafts of weaners penned. The larger drafts were consistently better quality with some of the smaller lots plain and light in condition. With a dry winter, prices were cheaper on most cattle.

Light weaner steers under 200kg sold to $810/head. The medium weights ranged from $655 to $1,090 and heavy weights made from $990 to $1375/head. Live weight prices for heavy steers averaged 330c and light and medium weights sold from 360c to 380c/kg. The better supplied weaner heifers sold from $685 to $980 and heavy weights made $1,250/head, they averaged from 310c to 330c with a few of the larger drafts up to 350c to 360c/kg.

Young PTIC cows and heifers ranged from $1,325 to $1,570/head with old cows making from $840 to $950/head. The only cow and calf made $1,730/unit.
