Total Yarding: 691

Cattle numbers fell and the quality was fair to good. Yearlings made up the bulk of the young cattle with only a few weaners penned. There was a good run of grown steers and light and medium weight cows. The market lifted 10c to 20c/kg across most categories.

The few weaner steers 260c to 307c and heifers 188c to 252c/kg. Medium weight feeder steers sold from 270c to 329c and heavy weights 290c to 325c/kg. Feeder heifers ranged between 245c to 259c/kg. Heavy trade cattle sold to a similar trend with heifers starting at 250c to steers at 315c/kg.

A better run of grown steers gained 20c selling to 315c and 2 tooth heifers reached 300c/kg. Light and medium weight cows were 20c to 30c/kg dearer with limited numbers and strong restocking activity. The 2 score cows sold from 180c to 215c/kg. The heavy cows averaged firm but sold to a dearer trend ranging from 200c to 250c to average 239c/kg on the 4 score cows.
