There was an increase in numbers and the quality improved. There was a big run of medium weight feeder steers and limited numbers of heifers and grown cattle. Around 40 mostly heavy 3 and 4 score cows were penned and compared to the last sale prices were much stronger across all categories.

A vealer heifer reached 540c/kg. The large draft of medium weight feeder steers sold for 600c/kg and heavy weight were 24c dearer ranging from 460c to 545c/kg. Medium and heavy feeder heifers gained 4c on very limited numbers and sold between 410c and 478c/kg. Trade steers reached 520c/kg.

A very limited selection of grown steers and bullocks ranged from 400c to 466c and grown heifers ranged from 410c to 482c/kg. Cows were 8c to 15c dearer with the heavy 3 score cows improving the most. Heavy 3 and 4 score cows sold from 375c to 413c/kg.
