Numbers lifted and the quality was mixed containing a few weaners and a good run of heavy yearlings. There was a big run of two tooth steers that went to a backgrounder. Prime grown steers and bullocks were limited and there were around 80 cows penned. The market sold to firm to dearer trends.

Weaner steers sold from 160c to 233c/kg. Medium weight steers were dearer selling to 200c to restockers and 210c/kg to the trade. Heavy steers gained 5c to 9c with the feeders 185c to 199c/kg and reached 220c/kg to the trade. Feeder heifers were firm ranging from 140c to 172c/kg.

The big run of two tooth steers sold between 178c and 237c and prime steers sold from 150c to 175c/kg. The best of the grown heifers were 10c stronger reaching 190c/kg. Cows were firm to 4c softer with less competition and the 2 score cows sold from 135c to 140c and the heavy 3 and 4 score 135c to 166c/kg.
