Lamb numbers eased and the quality was mixed containing a very good run of trade weights lambs and heavy weights were limited. There were plenty of lighter lambs that suited a very strong restocking market. The trade and heavy lambs sold to softer trends as did Hoggets.

The 2 score processing lambs were $11 cheaper selling from $44 to $90/head and similar weights to the restockers reached $122/head for neatly shorn second cross lambs. Trade weights dipped $8 to $13/head and lambs 20 to 24kg sold from $116 to $145/head averaging 540c to 560c/kg. The 24 to 26kg lambs were back $4 selling from $133 to $170/head on the back of a very good run of lambs and averaged 590c/kg. Heavy weights reached $178/head.Hoggets were back $15 to $20/head and reached $123/head.

Mutton numbers were back and so were the prices, medium weight ewes lost $20 to $25/head and heavy weights fell between $40 and $50/head. Heavy crossbred ewes sold from $60 to $75/head and Merino ewes reached $90 and heavy wethers topped the mutton market at $99/head. Most averaged from 220c  to 245c/kg cwt.
