Lamb numbers lifted and the quality was good, with a good run of medium and heavy trade lambs. Heavy lambs were limited and there was an increase in light 2 score lambs. The market sold to a dearer trend.

The 2 score processing lambs sold from $118 to $145/head. Feeders paid to $165/head for trade weights. The medium and heavy trade lambs to 22kg were $9 to $10 dearer and sold from $148 to $175, as the 22-24kg lambs made from $168 to $196/head. Carcase prices averaged from 740c to 800c/kg cwt for the light trade. Heavy lambs were $3 dearer, making from $184 to $228/head. Hoggets reached $200/head.

Mutton numbers jumped and the quality remains mixed. Prices lifted $25/head across most grades. Medium weights made from $110 to $150/head. Heavy crossbreds sold from $140 to $173/head. Most averaged from 550c to 580c/kg cwt. A single wether reached $220/head.
