There was only a small increase in numbers with weather conditions effecting supply. Quality was good in the smaller offering which included a small run of light weaners and a very good run of butcher vealers. Most of the yearlings were medium weights and sold to feeder and restocking orders. There were no prime grown steers and only 75 cows were penned. The market sold to a dearer trend.

The few light weaners sold to 532c for both steers and heifers. Heavy butcher vealers sold from 410c to 415c for the steers and heifers reached 398c/kg. Year long to feed were 9c dearer on limited numbers and ranged from 372c to 408c/kg. Heifers were dearer selling from 370c to 406c to feed and restocking orders and trade heifers 390c to 421c/kg.

Grown heifers to process were firm from 295c to 362c/kg. A good line up of heavy cows sold 7c dearer ranging from 275c to 310c and light restocking cows reached 314c/kg.
