Total Yarding: 320

Numbers were steady and the quality was again good with most of the cattle having good cover and weight. Yearlings and cows were best supplied. Grown cattle and weaners very limited. Processors purchased most of the yearlings with feeder and restocking orders limited. The market sold to a stronger trend.

The few light steers to restockers were firm selling to 444c/kg. Most of the medium and heavy trade steers lifted from 15c to 20c and sold from 386c to 420c/kg. The few feeder steers sold from 390c to 422c/kg. Heavy trade heifers increased from 17c to 18c making from 386c to 392c and medium weights reached 424c/kg. A limited number of feeder heifers sold from 414c to 419c/kg for the medium weights. Grown steers were firm ranging from 340c to 384c and grown heifers to process lifted 16c reaching 380c/kg.

Cows jumped 20c and most were heavy 4 and 5 score cows and sold from 275c to 330c/kg lwt
