Numbers were back and the quality was mixed but there were several large drafts of heavy yearlings in very good condition. Feeders dominated the young cattle with processors limited. Grown steers and heifers were in short supply as were cows with only 56 penned. Young light cattle to restockers and feeders were firm. Medium and heavy weights were cheaper on average with the exception of a line of heifers.

Light steers to restock and feed orders sold from 380c to 431c/kg. Medium weight feeders were 16c cheaper on average but the larger lines of steers were back only 10c/kg. Heavy feeders lost 20c with most selling from 352c to 418c/kg. The large draft of medium weight heifers to a restocking order reached 422c/kg. Grown steers and bullocks over 500kg sold from 325c to 350c and the lights to feed sold to a top of 366c/kg. Heavy grown heifers were 20c cheaper to sell from 301c to 322c/kg.

Most of the cows were heavy 4 scores and prices eased by 12c, to make from 240c to 263c/kg.
