Lamb numbers were similar and the quality was mostly plain store and secondary trade weights. There were only a few well finished trade and heavy lambs. The market sold to a firm to slightly cheaper trend and not all the usual buyers were operating.

Light store lambs to 20kg sold on condition and started at $15 to shorn second cross lambs to go onto crop selling to $119/head. Trade weights lambs 22 to 24kg sold $3 cheaper $119 to $147 and the 24 to 26kg lambs $141 to $161/head. The better lambs averaged 580c to 600c/kg. Heavy weights to 30kg sold from $167 to $180 and extra heavy lambs $181/head, the best for heavy hoggets was $128/head.

Mutton numbers were steady and quality plainer with a lift in 1 and 2 score ewes. Prices were $5 to $7 cheaper. Medium weights sold from $68 to $108 and heavy crossbred ewes $99 to $138/head. The best for Merino wethers was $130/head.
