Numbers eased and the quality was mostly good with plenty of condition on all stock. Light cattle were limited to only a few pens. Yearling steers were in short supply and there was a good run of heavy grown heifers. Only 55 cows were penned and most of these were heavy weights.

The few weaner steers sold to 500c/kg. Medium weight yearling steers sold to similar prices and made from 381c to 420c/kg with restocking orders picking up the bulk. Heavy steers to the trade sold from 352c to 382c/kg. Medium weight heifers to feed sold firm from 373c to 395c, with trade heifers 17c dearer as they made 403c to 431c/kg. Heavy trade heifers lifted 7c reaching 372c/kg.

Grown steers over 500kg sold from 338c to 358c and grown heifers to the trade were firm at 320c to 373c/kg depending on age. A limited number of cows sold 10c to 15c stronger with the medium weights having made 260c to 298c/kg. Heavy 3 and 4 score cows 272c to 308c/kg.
